Although Michelle is now the General Manager of Digital Innovations and Technology at Chevron, a leading STEM corporation in the oil and gas industry, in a sense she did accomplish her childhood dream of being an artist. Every day Michelle gets to look at the exciting new technology that others have created. This technology inspires Michelle to think of new ways for Chevron to meet their goals. This is the purpose of art: to inspire, excite, and lead others to create. Word to the Wise: Do it All!Michelle continues to paint and draw today- mostly with colored pencils and paints. She is passionate about both STEM and art, and sees them to be forever interconnected. When asked what advice she had for younger students, she simply said, "Do it all." Click below to hear more.
